Pletaflex Flexible Stone Facade — Private House in Soroca

A Contemporary KORDEKO Facade Solution in Soroca

Area.......................160m2
Cladding year................2018
A classical private house in Soroca with a bay window and columns required a natural stone facade without excessive load on walls and slabs, and with the ability to accurately finish arches, cornices, and curved elements. The task was to achieve the visual effect of real stone while keeping the facade warm, lightweight, durable, and easy to maintain.

The KORDEKO (Pletaflex) flexible stone facade retains a fresh, stable appearance over time: no fading, no delamination, and no cracking. Decorative elements and columns remain intact, corners and bay projections are protected from chipping, while light wall planes combined with a dark plinth create a natural stone composition.
The construction stays warm and lightweight—the cladding does not overload load-bearing elements and works correctly with insulation systems. Color and texture remain UV-stable for years. Maintenance is minimal: simple water washing is sufficient, as the hydrophobic surface repels dirt and moisture without chemical treatments. No repainting or impregnations are required, and the facade does not deform under heat.

In changing climatic conditions and minor structural vibrations, the system prevents cracks and chips. The result is long-term savings on maintenance, stable appearance, and a consistently presentable facade—exactly why KORDEKO was chosen for this project.
