The main goal of this project was to refresh the facade of a private house in the Telecentru district of Chișinău. The task was to achieve a warm, calm stone character while maintaining clean geometry, fast installation, and long-term durability.

The facade area totals 190 m². The primary material selected was flexible stone Turkish Travertine (Rock Stone R03 TT), known for its soft travertine texture and balanced, warm tone. The base consisted of plastered walls with basic leveling and priming.

To emphasize architectural rhythm, KORDEKO signature EPS facade cornices were applied. They visually organize the planes, create precise lines above openings and corners, and bring clarity to the facade composition. All works were completed efficiently.
Result:
The travertine texture gives the house a calm, warm character. Cracks are absent; corners and trims are assembled cleanly, with even joints throughout. Facade maintenance is simple—gentle washing without aggressive chemicals. The lightweight material does not overload the structure and works reliably with EPS facade decor.

The cladding is resistant to precipitation, UV exposure, and freeze–thaw cycles. To understand how sunlight interacts with the facade, see the article “Is the Sun an Enemy or an Ally?” And to preview the facade “live,” use the 3D visual configurator with two sliders (wall / plinth) to quickly find a balanced combination without on-site trials.
