Flexible Stone — House in Cimișlia

Long-Term Facade Performance Without Extra Intervention

Area: ...............................200 m²
Year: ...............................2025
A private house in a green courtyard with an extended plinth, entrance group, and windows at semi-basement level required enhanced protection of the lower facade zone. The task was to strengthen durability and thermal stability without adding complex systems or future maintenance risks.

Flexible stone cladding formed a dark stone belt along the facade. The plinth and entrance area read as a single monolithic volume. The walls remain dry without condensation: moisture exits the structure, while external water does not penetrate. This creates comfortable conditions even in semi-basement spaces.
For the house in Cimișlia, the KORDEKO (Pletaflex) facade solution made the enclosing structures warmer and more stable. Low thermal conductivity helps retain temperature, while thermal bridges are eliminated at joints and connections. A balanced microclimate forms inside the building.

The system is designed to serve for more than 40 years, reducing operational costs and lowering energy demand for heating and cooling. If you want to test another stone shade for the plinth and entrance zone, open the 3D configurator: change the wall above and the plinth below, review options, and save the right combination. Need the same warm and durable plinth for your home in Cimișlia? Contact KORDEKO — we will prepare a 3D selection, junction details, and an accurate cost estimate.
